In the middle of nature, surrounded by stunning green scenery and only a few kilometers away from the Bravura Lake (Barragem da Bravura) you will find Quinta Gonçalves. The secluded holiday home is located on a large rustic property of 25.500 m² and it is just the right place for nature lovers or whoever is searching for peace and quiet far away from the tourist resorts. Located between the south coast and the west coast, you can reach their beaches in more or less 20 minutes by car. The restaurant “Solar do Pincho” is just 3.6 km away. Here you can enjoy a coffee on the terrace or ending an impressive day with a typical Portuguese dinner. The closest village is Bensafrim, at a distance of 15 km. There you will find a pharmacy, a bank, a post office, cafés and restaurants, a little supermarket and a daily market where you can get fresh groceries for your daily needs. Also the historical city of Lagos with its unique beaches is only 20 km away. With the variety of shops and a countless number of bars, restaurants and cafés, the leisure activities and entertainment facilities are endless. There is also a marina from where you can take off for boat tours, sailing trips, dolphin watching and many more. Quinta Gonçalves consists of two separate apartments, one for 10 persons (150 m²), the other one for 4 persons (80 m²). A car is necessary. Access is partly via an unpaved road.

The apartment for 10 persons has two floors. On the ground floor is the living room with fireplace and TV, dining area open to the fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, etc., 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds, 1 with twin beds) and 3 bathrooms (2 with shower one of them en-suite, 1 with tub), laundry room with washing machine. A stair case leads to the upper floor with 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with twin beds) and 2 bathrooms (1 with shower and WC, 1 with WC). 

The apartment for 4 persons is composed by a living room with fireplace and TV, dining area open to the fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc., 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with twin beds) and 1 bathroom with shower and WC. 

You will find a private swimming pool of 8 x 4m surrounded by a sun terrace that ensures the necessary cooling down on hot summer days. There is also available a brick-built barbecue, outdoor furniture, sun beds and parasols. A cot is available upon request.

• The mobile phone network is weak, there is no network on parts of the property.
• Internet use is unlimited, there may be interruptions during the day.
• Self-sufficient water supply from own well. Avoid unnecessary water consumption, especially in summer.
• Possible restrictions/prohibitions on barbecues in summer. If these restrictions apply, guests will be notified.

Bed linen and towels are available. There is a cleaning service with change of linen and towels after one week for a stay of 14 nights.
